We visited here recently one evening, following the glowing reviews here on TripAdvisor. I was really excited to try some barbecue cooked food, following eating in our hotel most of the time during our stay. After a quick glimpse through the menu, we decided to go for the 'everything on a plate' as it was only 200kn. We asked the waiter whether we needed to order any sides as it was a bit unclear, but he said it included a bit of everything, so we didn't need to.As the picture shows, he wasn't kidding, and needless to say we were really impressed, and really full at the end of the meal. Everything was delicious, especially the turkey wrapped in bacon and cheese.Overall, our whole meal with two drinks each came to 290kn, so we found it to be great value for money given what we got, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Non servirebbe dire altro ma il posto merita così tanto che si usano volentieri parole in più. Primo: prenotare! (Anche se l'attesa vale). Secondo: spettacolare la qualità delle pietanze e del servizio. Ci siamo seduti alle 20:30 ed alle 21:30 potremmo già andare a mangiare il gelato sul lungomare (ma chi me lo fa fare di andare via?!?!). Chi viene nel raggio di 20km da Medulin e non viene a mangiare qui vuol dire che non sa cosa sia il mangiare bene. Io ho mangiato là tartare di gamberi blu (me ne sono fatte portare due porzioni) e mi sono innamorato. Mia moglie e mia figlia hanno preso le pljukanci con i gamberi e sono di fianco a me beate. Io ho preso i gamberi alla griglia che non hanno nulla a che vedere con le pallide imitazioni delle ultime due sere: galattici. Insomma, se volete mangiare bene (ma veramente bene, anzi benissimo) a Medulin, almeno una sera da Salt & Pepper non può mancare (io ho prenotato anche per la sera prima della nostra partenza per mantenere fresco il ricordo. Un'ultima nota sul vino: imparate come si serve la Malvazjia da questo ristorante. Qui non si rischia di trovare una schifezza ma un ottimo vino al giusto prezzo.
